I am sure everyone out there gets drawings from multiple clients or surveyors that contain a bunch of misc. crap you want to delete and sometimes you can't.

I ran across some files that had been Bound to the topo file and it created a lot of useless blocks that I could not delete which contained layers that would not purge.

Use QSelect to delete these blocks!! Here is How:

Run QSelect at the command line

Apply to "Entire Drawing"

Object Type "Block Reference"

In the Properties selection pick "Name"

And in the Value pull down select the block you want to delete.

Hit OK

The Command line will give you a total items selected.

Enter "Erase" Hit "Enter"

And your block is DELETED.
